how do u limit your top speed?

Default how do u limit your top speed?

how can i limit the speed of the car to only 70mph? is this posible or not? i have to learn power is nothing without control?

why would you want to set your governor at 70mph? your car is stock governored to 157... thats just fine for me

wtf kinda of question is this??? the easier way to limit your speed and still wanting a nissan is to get the Nissan Sentra.....that'll actually help slow down your take-off too...good luck buddy

+1 on cruise control... But set it too high and popo will pounce on u from the bushes.

I understand your question.
You can get HKS turbo timer (they don't make harness so you need to tab it yourself- most shops can do it.) and that has speed warning (not limit). Basically you set your speed and when your car reach at the speed, it will beep and light will blink. (also they have RPM warning with beeping)
Apexi also make one too. I saw a forum member selling Apexi one a few days ago.

HKS turbo timer is about 110 -120 shipped from eBay and Apexi is quite expensive and big size too.

It's not the limiter but it will help you when you take your feet off from the acc. w/o looking down.

thanks isugoo ill be looking into a hks turbo timer. What if i dont have a turbo?

i actually do the reverse... I set my cruise control at like 75 then I drive how I want to and it makes sure I never go under 75.

Remove 4th, 5th and 6th, should keep ya around 75mph

I don't have turbo either but I wanted to have speed warning/ RPM warning (in visual and beep) and that was my answer.

If you check the Apexi one, its not a turbo timer, its rev,speed warning unit. Maybe thats exactly what you need.

ur car is supposed to go fast
70mph u r in the middle of 3rd gear

Do not use fourth, fifth or sixth gears. That should just about take care of the problem.

you can still kill yourself at 70 easy enough, if you can't handle the power, buy a less powerfull car.
