Is this normal for this car?

My dealer told me if you hear any rattles or any thing, bring it back and we will attempt to fix it no charge with in a year or so. Thats if my memory serves me correct. So i guess rattles are to be expected, im at 3500 no rattles besides rear liscenes plate wich i fixed, i THOUGHT i heard a rattle but then i guess i didnt.

The rattle isn't normal? If you can build a rattle-free car or if you can find a solution, I will be your best friend because you will be a billionare. Like I said, no car is perfect. Just ask any stereo installer. I have tinted a lot of cars, believe me. Not one company (mercedes, bmw, toyota, porsche) is guaranteed from rattles. It's just a matter of luck.

I received my 05 350ZRT and it's just over a year old now.
Last night I had her out for a spin and it's just starting to cool off at night hear in southwest, Florida. The temps. from 68 to 72 in the evenings. The car is running excellent and it loves the cooler weather. You can feel the power gain from the lack of heat soak and the dryer, thiner air leans out the Z's richness.

Anyway, I had the top and windows down and I hear a buzzing sound.

It was coming from the smaller storage hatch behind the passenger seat. I opened it and it stopped. I drove with it open and proceeded to pull some 6,200 rpm shifts through some nice, banked turns on a popular stretch of mine. Like five minutes later I shut the storage hatch and drove around for another hour just joy riding and I did not hear from it again.

I must say I do get a little "wind" like noise but it only happens when the top is down

Wind noise for me also, i found that when i used the Window Up button, the noise went away for a second or two, then came back. Complained 3-4 times, of which they couldnt reproduce the issue because policy says they cant take the Z over the legal posted speeds. So i could never show the issue.. Eventually after complainin and complainin, they replaced the stripping, passenger window motor (passenger wind noise was real bad).

From what ive found out from a few tech's was that the windows in the Z are aligned by hand, if they are aligned perfectly, they dont rest of the stripping properly leaving a gap in the seal when wind force occurs.

Either way, the tech realigned the windows. Now its almost perfect, no wind noise until about 96-100.. My personal opinion, is that theres not enough force/pressure of the window on the stripping of the door seal.

Ya I pretty sure that is the problem I'm having because when I washed my car today. Water got in through the top window and leaked inside. I'm gonna have to take it in to the dealer and get it fixed. Grrrrrr
