Top ten must have mods for the Z
In my opinion:
*FI, if you can afford it...but for the rest of us:
1) LSD for Base models (I love my Quaife), otherwise springs/coilovers
2) The rest pretty much depends on one's goals--the whole "show vs go" argument...as for me, I "rotate my mods." For example,I would buy something for performance, aesthetics, A/V, then back to performance, etc. That way, I try to keep my car well rounded.

david's right. You have to fix the driver b4 upgrading the car. You just can't throw parts on the car if your not at the level to use those parts to their full potential.
But if i were to make a list it would be this.
To me it depends on what your going for. All Show and little go, or a balance of both, or one over the other.

2. Exhaust (complete)
3. Suspension work
4. Brake work
5. Body work
6. Rims
7. Fluids Change/upgrade ( only at # 7 due to time taken for the rest should be at the mileage to change.
8. Sound System Upgrade
9. Restraint upgrade (seat belts)
10. HOT *** PASSENGER!

wow, I totally disagree... can't a driver fix their driving ability on an upgraded car? You are basically saying 'buy a Porsche Turbo and take off the turbo so the driver can learn how to drive it'.
Not needed, just hand the car back to Barbie. No need to actually do any mods other than soundsystem or whatever your girl wants.
I think you missed the point. If you can't drive a 1989 240sx around a track decent you won't be able to drive a 911 Turbo around a track decent. You'll just look stupid.
With so many people loving the 3.9/4.1 final drive geras, I'm amazed that nobody put them on their list. Here is my list of the things that will be done to my '07 or '08 when I get it soon:
1: Nismo Exhaust
2: Injen Intakes
3: UpRev Reflash (not sure if it's out or not yet)
4: 4.1 FD Set
5: Rays Wheels
6: UD Pulleys (if they are out)
7: LED Turn Signal and Backup Bulbs
8: Eyelids or Headlight Painting (stock lights are ugly)
9: Aftermarket Front Bumper (stock is bland and contributes to the ugly look)
10: Possibly cams at some point
That's it. My list for a perfect daily-driven Z. It would probably be a high-12 or flat-13 car. I don't need an FI monster.
