D, I don't know FVR's policies, but I'll see if a tent is game or not. If it is I would say that you are welcome to put up in our yard, but there isn't a level spot on it, LOL. Come to think of it there isn't very many level spots anywhere up there.

There is a difference between teaching your child about life, drinking, drugs and ect.. and subjecting him or her to things that will harm them. That "Do as I say and not as I do" **** needs to stop. And I'm sure you are thinking what do I know. Well I have learned a lesson or two in my short life. I would never get drunk in front of my kid or anyone else’s. I respect the child and myself too much to do that. You can drink and not get drunk. I remember a New Years Eve party my friend took me to, where I was the only sober person. And let me tell you people do some stupid ****, things that I myself wasn't ready to see. I like to know who and what I'm doing at all times and I don't wanna wake up in the morning asking if I need to apologize for something I have said or done. For a child to be in that situation with his or her parent isn't cool. I would respect my mom less if she put me in that environment, and what does that say for your self-respect? As parents you have alot of control over what you child turns out to be like. "We are products of our environment." (Please read Harlow's experiment with monkey with Terry clothe or wire mommies http://lib.umflint.edu/reading-006.html ) I'm don't want you to feel like I'm attacking you shezzz because I'm saying this to everyone. If you want to drink at Zdayz that’s fine, just be responsible in everything you do. You can leave your child with me; I will take care of him or her. I'm not perfect, no one is. It’s just that being a great mommy to my child is more important then if I'm having fun or not. Having children is something special, cherish it. Sorry for the soap box, children is a touchy subject for me. By the way no one can say I don’t pay attention in psychology class!

Brayn you are a blessing! Thanks my friend!

Thanks Destiny, but my child didn't witness any nonsense or rash behavior on my part. On the contrary...you have to understand that since I'm far from the age of 18-22 when drinking and getting drunk meant being really pathetic (in most cases for a lot of people), I do not get "drunk" in the traditional "hurling your guts out, drinking and driving, falling-down-on-your-face- stupid", sense of the word...I enjoy my drinks, drink for enjoyment, and have no issues with my son (who was 16 last year for this event and is 17 now) seeing me toss back a few with friends. It happens at my home when I host parties. He's aware that I am not in danger, he has access to me if an emergency arises, and he can drive if neccessary.

No Harlow monkey situations here (I know the study). Since I only have one child and he's priceless in my eyes, I take no risks with putting him in a situation where I'm a danger to myself (with concern to alcohol or driving that is). Heck, I was stone cold sober and wrecked my Z and he still rides with me! I'd say I was doing a lot of things right by him!

Now back on topic with the ZDayz chat.....

DESTINY (and others who may want to camp)... look here first... http://www.fontanavillage.com/fontan...tml#CAMPGROUND... the call FVR at 800-849-2258 if you have any questions

I should note that the campground is not located at FVR proper. If you want to camp in the village, you need to contact FVR and see if that's allowed. My guess is that it is not.

Thanks B so does that mean you are going to let me in a 4 am when I have to go pee pee? Sleeping in the Z wouldn't be bad either. I have done it before but it was only for a couple of hours on my way to STL, it was great

Ok I was just saying... I wasn't accusing you of anything. I don't want you to have hard feelings or anything. Do I still get a hug when you see me? I hope so. Some people just don't understand what they do to their kids. When I was 10 my friend had to live with me for 3 days because her dad was to busy being passed out on the floor. Back to topic any new activities this year. Is ZOS going?

Or you could just sleep in the Z. I'm sure those seats would be pretty comfy if you piled them high with blankets and pillows.

Destiny, you could monitor here to see if anyone has room available: http://www.zdayzevents.com/zforum/vi...a80b25b84fea4b

There isn't any activity there now, but I'm sure since FVR is almost booked up, it will get busier. The organizers are encouraging everyone to post in that section.

OK y'all, I got the point.

Now, Art Singer is a marvelous graphic designer and associate publisher, not to mention, SZM Partner Club maven, but he's got a real drinking issue. He just can't handle his beer. One sip, he's gone.

Now Miss Marlene and I don't drink and if we can make it, we'll be there. Art, however, will remain on a leash in Rio Rancho, NM. Youz guyz just made my day.

ZDayZ ad will be in the Spring 2006 issue and if you look at our Home Page (www.sportzmagazine.com) and scroll down, it's there too. ZDayZ event is simply wonderful and is managed with perfection. It would be very nice to see the "presenter of trophies" this year as well.

Great folks in attendance and the Tail of the Dragon can be as challenging as you make it. The passenger in a hot Z needs to hang on. Quizzes have been know to happen.

Will keep that in mind. We toyed with the idea of having some live music this year, but it just didn't seem it would work out this time. A lot depends on how the schedule falls into place and where we could put the band. I think it would be great to have one onsite to play between the time we wrap up the car show display and prior to the awards dinner, then again after the awards dinner.

Bob (and everyone else)...

believe me... if there's anyway possible for me to have Shelley there to present trophies and prizes again, I will. She's moved pretty far away, but I do stay in touch with her. If not, I'll just have to find a suitable successor!

PS - Thanks for getting us on the homepage, Bob! That's awesome!!!
