Default Placing Jack stands under control arms

Is it ok to suspend the car by placing jackstands under all the control arms? I want the car off the ground while I store it, but I want the suspension at normal ride height.

If you are storing the car for a few months, no need to put it on jackstands. That's ususally when you are talking about a year or more.

Just buy the pink insulation(the styrofoam kind, not the soft kind) and put it under all four wheels. The thing is to not let your tires sit on the cold asphalt/concrete.

You mean where the control arms mount the chassis or where the control arm meets to the wheel hub?

+1. I also boost my tires to about 45 psi to help prevent flatspotting.

My Z is stored- sitting on blueboard as mentioned by the others. This is the best solution.
I would not place jack stands under the middle of the control arms. If you were going to use jack stands- place them under the specified jack points and then raise the tires one by one and block them up. That way, the suspension is compressed as usual but without the weight of the car to support.

Thanks I'll try the pink insulation/blue board idea. Since its only going to be for a couple of months I guess Ill just leave it on the ground.
