Are you referring to the window grease streaks? It is under a TSB and your dealership will correct it for you.

I have the same problem. Took car to dealer. They fixed problem, but it came back. Inside the door panel, there are little brushes that keep the window on track when it rolls up/dwn. Some idiot engineer decided to put grease on these or on another part withing close proximatey. The brushes get grease on them, hence the steaks on your windows. I got tired of cleaning the windows. I just live with it now.

How long ago did you have it corrected? My streaks returned also, to a much lesser degree. But after a few days they vanished and never returned.

If you have tinted window, the brush could have left a permanent mark on yoru tint and you might have to retint in order to get rid of the impression left on there before you got the TSB done.

There is no grease on my window, only the mark on the tint. I'll have to get that fixed in the spring, plus I want a darker tint.

The grease came back within a few days of the dealership fixing it. I continued to wipe it off several times afterwards, but grew tired of doing that.

For those of you that have not had it fixed yet, don't get discouraged by the fact that the problem came back for some. Take it to the dealership anyway.

I had the streaks really bad, had them fix it over a year ago, and they never came back.

I would say not to take it to the dealer because they might just screw it up more. (My windows go up and down at different speeds now.)

I have the grease on the inside of my windows as well. Right now I'd say my doors are in perfect shape. The windows work great, fit nice with no wind noise and drop just like they should. I can't bring myself to take it to the dealer just to have them screw up my quite ride and have to bring it back several times so they can get it right. I'll just live with the streaks.
My two cents.

yea.. i have the same problems.. except mine's not really grease streaks anymore.. well sometimes.. but i have tinted windows and i guess the brushes or watever's hitting the window glasses left marks on the tint itself.. so.. we'll see.. hopefully i get new window glasses too when i get them fixed..

Well I have not streaks but goo marks. I can't get rid of it. It is where the window hits the rubber when it rolls up. I tried goo gone, but no luck. I thought goo gone was THE ULTIMATE cleaner. Anyone have this problem? Other than dipping my windows in acid, I don't know what to do.

How long did the dealer have your cars tied up for fixing that?
