Default Debadging: will just any adhesive remover do?

I'm in Canada, so i might not come across the 3M adhesive remover. Can i just use just any other that i find? Or does it have to be something specific, as to not damage the paint?

Find "GooGone" at your local drug store. Works wonders when I changed my badges. Godd luck.

So you guys do it yourselves? I figured when I wanted it done I would just bring it up to the dealership...but then again they would rape me on price.

+1 for Goo-Gone. I would avoid a potent solvent such as acetone.

You can find Goo-gone at any Canadian Tire store...

A heat gun and your nail works well too...
