Tiff Needell loved the 350Z, and totally trashed the 240hp Audi TT. It was a great segment, he just mentioned how driving the Z just brought a smile to his face the whole time, and he sure knew how to power the Z (Daytona Blue no less) around the track. Those slides around the corners were just beautiful. Finished ahead of the TT by over a second on a lap of the course (he drove both)...

Fifth Gear is my favorite car show of all time, he also drove a Ferrari F430 Spyder around...

You pretty much need to find it via torrents or the like if you don't live in the UK. It's Season 8, Episode 6, btw...

 

yeah, saw it too. Funny how Jermey Clarkson bashed our Z in his show and saying it's noisy and made fun of the subwoofer and stuff...BS, he just couldn't drive it like Tiff Needle to enjoy the handling of our cars.

To each their own, some like the Z and some hate it. As long as those of us who own them like them and do not regret the purchase then that is all that matters in my book... I personally love my Z and am very happy with the money that I have spent on it.

 

fifth gear and top gear are two different shows. the main presenter in top gear is jeremy clarkson and the main guy in fifth gear is tiff needel. they used to have a show together but for some reason split up.

Tiff usually gets all organismic on his speech when driving the
car he really likes/enjoys.
It sure sounded like he was gonna have organism when he was driving the Z

Double pawnage for the TT - It also went up against the Z in 2003 episode
of Fifth Gear and lost bad.

 

I remember the other 2003 feature of Fifth Gear where that girl was driving the Audi TT, then switched over to drive the Z.

She was having an orgasm just whipping the Z around the track.

 

I ignore Carkson, Tiff Needell is a proper racing driver, 14 Le Mans 24 hrs, a brief F1 career and many years racing touring and GT cars. I've seen him race, he's a legend.

5th gear also have Jason Plato, also a highly succesful racing driver.

For an opinion on how a car drives it's got to be 5th gear.

 

Tiff said he didn't want to stop driving the Zed,

5th gear isnt as interesting as top gear tho

 

Top gear has alot of personality with some fun-to-watch situations.

5th gear has those cool spliced cut scenes between two cars on the same track. I think they're a tad more non-biased.

Both entertaining to watch though.
