Default She's a Headturner

I've had my CS Touring now almost two months and it never fails to amaze me at the amount of heads that turn and look at the car. There are times I'm just cruising along and a car will come along side and stare and it takes about a millisecond before that familiar realization occurs of what I am driving. For those of you that are waiting, the wait is well worth it. The car is a blast to drive and wonderful to look at. I have to make myself drive in the slow lane most of the time because I'm tempted to "play".

Hahahaha! You think ONE Z is a head-turner, you should see what happens when you get three driving in a row in traffic! OMG, I think the local chiropractors owe us a kickback for all the head-snapping that was going on!

There are more pictures from that day posted on www.extremespeedonline.com in the Pictures section, in the Image gallery. You can go directly into the "12-28-02 Wrench Day" folder for Eric1h's pictures or look for the same subdir under the bhobson333 folder for Flyingscot's pictures, slightly higher-res. Unfortunately, I left my freaking camera back at the shop, so I couldn't take any of my own!

You'll see a couple of pics there from an interesting situation we ran across. When we pulled in for lunch we pulled in directly behind three State Troopers who were eating at the same restaurant! When we came out of the restaurant a couple of them were checking out the cars, looking in the windows, etc; we had a nice conversation and took a few pics. We promised we wouldn't post their personal pics on the internet, so I have done some editing.

Hey Hogan, nice sig!
Being a total idiot that I am, I left the camera in low-res. We'll take some more soon in hi-res. In the meantime, check this out.

Of course, you're talking about my cropping of the Z pictures, complimenting me on my photo editing capabilities, not commenting on my XXX-style removal of the trooper's eyes.

Here's a couple more good ones!

I don't know about you, but, I thought their company cars were rather cool. And if they had offered me the chance to drive one with the lights and sirens, I would have certainly returned the favor.

Those are great shots. No driving my 350 today. It's snowing like hell. Time to go four wheeling!

If "normal" means that most people in the same situation behave in the same way, then yes I think it's normal! Is it normal to do a U-turn and chase them down to look, compare and talk about it?!?!

Headturner...

I know what you mean. We all do.
I used to have an Acura TL when it first came out. Certainly not a sports car like the Z, in fact a sedan, but it did turn heads. Then the damn bandwagon yups got a hold of it and every plain jane and joe was buying one to keep up with the jones. So naturally, the masses bring about complacency. So big daddy here had to move on to the bad *** Z. Of course that wasn't the only reason but it was one of them.

If someone breaks their neck while turning their head, is that like manslaughter?...hmmm
