Direct injection
I was looking at the screen saver that came with the surpise pkg. CD. It says "NDIS Nissan direct injection system" on one of the shots. Think it's a typo? I imagine they meant to say direct ignition but it would be cool to have this feature. I'm not really sure what the advantage would be but people seemed to be hoping for this awhile back.
It shows up on the shot of the full frontal view of the car after it shows the interior.

Nissan uses NEO- DI = direct injection.
Too bad since NEO- DI can increase fuel economy by up to 40% and decrease emissions by up to 30%.

I don't understand. 40% better fuel economy and 30% less emissions is bad?

no what he is saying is that it is too bad that they didn't make this vehicle direct injection. The reason being that the fuel that we use is of so low quality. That is the reason we get our fuel cheap compared to the rest of the world. But i feel for the japanese Z enthusiasts because it got left out in japan because of us here in the good ol' US of A.

ZISME -- Another typo
ZISME -- Welcome back and thanks again for all of your help.
While we're on the subject of typos, I noticed this paragraph on the "Design Your Z" link on nissandriven.com:
"Here is your chance to customize your dream. Choose the model you want, your colors and options, and bring the dream closer to reality. You can print out your customized 2003 350Z® to remind you what your living for, and rest assured your day will come."
Note that the bolded "your" should be "you're." Not trying to be picky, just letting you know I noticed this awhile back and figured you'd be the guy to notify. You can probably tell we've been scouring nissandriven.com for any tidbit of info!... lots of time on my hands as I await my new Z.
