I call BS; it just can't be real for too many reasons. Besides, that guy doesn't look like he could ketch much, even with a modded Z...

if it has police on the door it cant be undercover, and if its not undercover it shouldnt have mods like a kit, lambo doors etc.

That very well could be a Speeder car. Perhaps the police did seize it...and rather than spending money to revert to stock, just painted it. I know the SC and NC Highway Patrol use Cameros to catch speeders...so why not a modded Z? That is an FMIC there in the bumper...

One County in NC has a Z06 as a pursuit vehicle. I was a impounded vehicle too.

it could be his car. around here the police can either drive a sanctioned police car or if they would rather not they can use their vehicle as long as it is marked. talked to a cop about it. he said that its at the driving officers expense. so if your too stuburn to drive a crown vic, then u can use or buy a car of your own for patroling as long as u mark it.

On a side note, if he knows anything about cars and he pulled you over, he probably wouldn't write you a ticket.

So.... When he arrest somebody, that sombody will sit next to him with cuff?
I belive trunk is too small for a dude with cuff but at least shot gun and bullet proof armer will fit just fine in the tiny trunk.

Funny that nobody from SoCal has responded yet in this thread, this car belongs to the Monterey Park PD, in the Los Angeles area. I don't know that they actually patrol with it, but they do take it to local car events like this pic I took from Formula D back in July. Also they will take it out to local track days. Irwindale Speedway has open Thursday night drags and they will frequently show up with their Z. I think it's their way of reaching out to the car community.

Also in nearby Irwindale is this Subaru WRX STi
