Hey whats up guys. Today the weirdest thing happend to me. I started up my car all normally and turned the radio on and the cd player wasn't playing my cd's. It went through all 6 of them and it said "check disc". All my cd's are clean and aren't scratched. So I took it down to PN and had a service director look at it and said he will order me a new head unit. I was like thats fine but would anyone know why that would happen? Anyone with the Bose system in their Z ever experience anything like this? I figured the laser probably messed up or something like that.

 

Do you hear that? That's the sound of a couple hundred Z owners telling you to ditch the factory stereo.....j/k . You're probably right. I bought a '00 Celica brand new and had a similar problem. Most likely just a bad head unit.

 

Perhaps it was the music that you were listening to. The car decided that it didn't want to hear it anymore...

 

same just last week it started havin the EXACT friggen problems im happy to say that i will guttin the ENTIRE garbage bose system

 

my non-Bose base factory system works perfectly fine for three years.....it plays hiphops just fine.

 

I'm on my fourth Bose HU. Pure crap, IMO. And what you'll get from your replacement will be a refurb.

Besides the scratched screen and ***** and 3 failures with the "refurbs" I got, they're great!
