Default Did i break something ?

I am paranoid now...

I went out in the snow, doing some sliding around in an empty lot...

did that about 40 minutes...

then i poped the hood i see some water droplets got into the right wheel well where my AEM cold air is... then engine and exhaust making weird noises (well i pushed the car pretty hard)... oil pressure gauge shows me that oil pressure is being wacky (a lil below normal ... eh going sideways does distort things)...

Now after i got home let the car rested for like 20 minutes(with the hood popped to let cold air cool the engine) now when i rev there is this shaking noise coming from the middle of the car... its not like exhaust rattle...
only thing i know is test pipes ... cuz im running on oem exhaust :\
and we rebolted the test pipes 2 weeks ago..

*SIGH*

When you say the oil pressure is "wacky", what does that mean? Are you getting fluctuation in pressure, or is it just reading low?

No idea on the shaking noise. Maybe you've got snow packed up against the drive-shaft or something.

I find it hard to believe you have actually damaged anything, in the snow even if you drove it hard, I can't imagine the car was under that much stress. Maybe you hit the underside of the car on packed snow? Other than that kcobean's suggestion sounds feasable, you would have quite a bit of snow rammed hard under the car.

You need to let that water/snow evaporate before you can tell if its just H2O in your system, or if you did break anything....
btw, where do you work?

I wouldn't worry about water getting in through the CAI. You basically have to submerge the filter to induce hydrolock. I think paulsmansfield may be right- maybe you hit the exhaust on some packed snow. Does the exhaust sound any different (louder)? If so I'd get your car in the air and check the exhaust and test pipes for cracks.

Yup, take a good luck at the exaust system, but honnestly I dont see how you could hurt it without hitting something that you would have felt....
Trust me, I've been doing donuts, and controled drifts for years in the snow, in everything from my G sedan to Volvo's and even a GT3......
The only time I broke anything was when I hit a cement parking lot burm, (In a Volvo 850 Turbo) and trust me I felt that one!

It's possible you yanked an O2 sensor... they can get caught on stuff... maybe on some ice.
