Cool story. As a passenger you're a bit anxious because you're not in control (hopefully the drivers is).

I agree with this whole post.....I'm used to all my power when I drive....I actually want more and am used to the pull...but when I take my car and my tuner takes me for a ride in my own car after he adds things or tweaks the tune..I **** my pants and feel sick to my stomach when he gets on it....lol Now I know how my passengers feel when I get on it...It's crazy how different the feel is driving compared to the pass seat..

Yes, but all my love ones that I trust with my Z can drive and the ones who doesn't have track experience, they baby my Z out of respect.

No wonder my little sister says I'm driving too fast. =P Heh, I've ridden in it many times, I think it reminds you how fast your Z really is.

I let my old man drive it once.....felt slow.

But then again he was shifting at 2000 rpm and barely stepping on the throttle.

Try sitting in a wrx with upgraded turbo kit, and all the goodies or a Golf with turbo running 20+ psi, youll feel like your sitting in the back seat once the boost kicks in!! Those *****es will throw you in the back seat!
Peace!

So will a Z with a turbo kit, you won't be disappointed.

This thread brings up a good point. The only time I've got to ride in the passenger seat of the Z was right after my turbo kit installed. It felt so fast I could almost feel my bowels let loose. Problem is when I drive I'm so used to the power it doesn't feel that fast.

I agree... Everytime I drive the Z I tell everyone that I'm so used to it, it doesn't really feel fast to me... I let my friend take it for a spin and I okayed it for him to get on it. I kind of sat back in my seat like, WTF???? No wonder people tell me to slow down when I take them for a ride; it feels a lot faster on the passenger side for some reason.

I let my girlfriend drive but she babies it. I gave her permission to floor it in 3rd from a nice speed, I think 1st and 2nd gear may be too torquey for her (she has a Prelude).

That's funny, my dad has never riden with me when I get on it, I bet he'd be pretty upset if I did

I think the strangest feeling I've ever had is riding in my friend's Z32. Despite being a Z...it just feels really different. I've taken rides in the passenger seat of a ZR (I got to drive it as well) and I let my Mom drive my Z. A couple times I rode in a SC'd G35...and that was slightly different because of the noises the car makes.

But yeah...I'm with the rest of you guys...I'd rather be in the driver's seat.

how random is that?? I was browsing through these posts and found this one, then realized that my buddy wrote it and was talking about riding in my car? I didn't even know he was a member here. Sweet, now I want a ride from someone!
