Need Blizzak Tire Help
I'm at work, and didn't bring my Z today so I can't look on the tires or owners manuel. What size are the front tires, and what size are the back tires?
I'm on a page with all Blizzak's and don't know which size I need to get.
Also, would only going with snow tires in the rear be ok, as opposed to getting all 4?

Oh, and they do recommend getting snow tires for all 4, not just the rear wheels. Reason being, if you just have them on the back, your car will not grip well in the turns. Your front tires will be sliding all over the place. You might be able to get away with all-seasons for the front, and snow tires for the back.

I just ordered the Blizzack LM-22 (from Goodyear, not Bridgestone)....they have two different models, get the LM-22, they're a little more expensive, but supposedly worth the extra $20-30 per tire. Anyway, I also looked them up at tirerack.com and from what I remember, shipping+tax for all four 225/50s and 235/50s was around $750. I then called Goodyear (in Columbia, MD) and they quoted me a price for $900 installed. I'm going with Goodyear since they can get the Blizzacks too. That way I don't have to go through the hassel of ordering and taking the tires somewhere to have them installed. I talked to guy in Boston and he said the blizzacks got him through last years winter, so for what it's worth, I think $900 is worth it - just in case we get a nasty winter (which the weatherman says we are
).

I got my wheels/tire package for $1000 shipped, installed, and aligned. Since I have the 18 inch wheels I decided to purchase 17 inch wheels. The 18 inch blizzaks cost alot more.

What is the name (and website if possible) of the place in Columbia you are dealing with?
I am not having any luck finding snows in the Annapolis area, where I live.
Thanks
I went with the same Blizzack WS-50 on 17" wheels package as Angelzhope. No problems driving during the last snow storm, but on bare pavement it's like riding on jelly tires, especially in the turns. Can't wait for Spring!
