Remove the stero & speakers.

That makes more sense than removing airbags.

How exactly do you get rid of the sound deadening? I'd do it just for the sound, but I don't know how.

First off, the sound deadening is a royal pain in the a** to get all of it out even with dry ice. Nissan uses some sort of glue in addition to the sticky sound deadener. I still am not finished getting it out, but after 3 days working on it at night I have about 90% of it out and I have kept it all in one bag that I put on the scale. 3 days of annoying work for 10 lbs. of sound deadener. If I would have known the amount of time and effort it would take for a mesely 10 lbs. I would not have done it.

Second, don't do the airbags unless you have a roll bar, racing seats, and properly mounted 5 or 6 point harnesses. All it would take is one accident for you to regret taking the airbags out.

The stock speakers weigh next to nothing. I was really suprised. The stereo on the other hand, is heavy.

The CF hatch is a good option if you are going to use a lexan window instead of the OEM glass. That will save some weight for sure.

This is really the only way to save some real weight...

Who needs air bags when you have a 4 point harness and racing seats is what I am thinking. So I think I am seriously going to do that...

There are so many options, it is better to catch up in this thread

Don't forget to corner balance the car. Most people reduce wieght and forget to adjust the suspension to compensate for it, which is why coilovers, toe arms, and camber arms are so important to get.

My car is so noisy from having nothing that everything cancels out. Exhaust is loud, suspension is stiff, no windows, sound deadening...you get the picture

I love it, . I think your car looks awesome. If I didn't think my fiance would kill me I would do that to my car, haha.

That's what I was thinking. With a 4 point you don't need airbags any ways. Besides my airbag light has been flashing for months for some reason so my luck would be that they wouldn't even deploy if I got in an accident, .

Don't replace the spare tire with a can of spray fix if you have TPMS sensors!
