can u tell me what is ecu and why they reseting it.

ECU= engine control unit... you cant reset your transmission.. if theres a problem with the tranny then take it to a dealer or mechanic

Yea, every time a mechanical problem pops up it would be great to have a "Reset to defaults" button.
