Default Pucker Factor = 7.6

Just thought I'd pass this along.

I was driving home last night after work, about 7:40pm.

Got to a very open portion of the interstate, about 2 miles long, right before my exit. There is a median in the middle (no cops can get across) and there were NO cars between me and the exit.

I was doing about 80 (my normal speed), and decided to open her up a bit. Had the digi-speedo on the trip computer.

Well, the bricks takes off and I'm glancing at the speedo to see how quick I'm moving. Hit about 115 and .......

Holy shizznit!

The temp indicator flips on and gives me the icy reading! I've had it happen before, but it really put a scare into me seeing it flip over at that exact moment.

Just thought you all might get a laugh out of that one. I know I tensed up a bit, and it was time to bring her down and hit the exit.

Back in my young and stupid(er) days, I was playing with my Syclone. I took it up to its speed limiter at 128 on an empty stretch of interstate. I felt it hit the limit with a sudden loss of power, and I looked behind me to see a huge black cloud of smoke

I'm not sure exactly what it does at that limiter, but it seemed to dump the turbo. I thought I'd blown it $$
