"a rating of 122 reflects a collision loss experience that is 22% higher (worse) then average while a rating of 96 reflects a colission loss experience that is 4% lower (better) then average." 100 represents the average

....and this all sums up my major complaint about insurance, that we are paying for someone else's bad driving record. Seriously, because if we weren't, it really shouldn't matter what kind of car I drive, my driving record alone should be proof enough that I am a good safe driver. In almost 15 years of driving, I have had one accident (under 10 mph), and the other driver's company paid the claim that day. Having said that, you'd think my insurance would be less than the $1070/year it is now just on the Z. Yes, in another thread I mentioned being self insured, and I am almost there. Accidents do happen, but I am willing to take my chances. History alone dictates I could make out better.
