I carried my Z home today ...
On my way back from my girls house (like 3 blocks from my house) I was goin like 15mph and changed into a turning lane to turn onto my street when the back end broke out and I hoped a median into oncoming traffic ... mostly a head on collision with a QX4 then about 30 seconds after we both stopped I got T- boned by an 89 Camry. It was pretty sweet. After the truck towed my car away I put my headlight projector in my pocket and walked home. I took the day off work and I'm sipping on some Chopin vodka. Just fyi it was snowing ... no accumulation, but I wasn't speeding or acting like an ***. Although I'll always remember my Esprit front bumper exploding into about 10,000 tiny pieces all over the road. That was fun.

LOL...I like your attitude about the whole thing! The weather is certainly miserable. Sounds like you could have been hurt, so at least you're lucky in that respect.

snow sucks ***... its not even the snow thats the bad part. when i was in jersey i was more scurred when it was just an inch of snow and freezing cuz of the black ice... if its a few inches of snow, usually you get better traction, at least for me...(not if other people have gone ahead of you cuz then they'll just crush the snow and form ice for ya...sweet.)
I heard there was going to be ice in your area last night. My cousin that lives in Herndon, Va. and I was on the phone last night talking about this exact issue. He works at Nissan. I told him to be really careful. He said, "no worries, I drive pretty slow in those conditions"
Even with a 4wd Suburban he knows ice is his enemy. Sorry to hear about your loss.
It's the ice under the snow you have to worry about in your area. But, you probably know that. I am praying for good luck on your repairs.
There has been way too many Z's wrecked this month.
However, it has been really nice that all the driver have escaped serious injury so far.

I appreciate all of the kind words. I could be angry, but I know when I get her back she'll be better than ever ... and it'll be spring more than likely lol. I'll be sure to post pictures once I get it back. Next winter I'm buying a beater and putting the Z in the garage. Lesson learned.
