I like it; it goes with the door handles.

 

It looks pretty good, but I went with the even shorter aluminum antenna and think it looks great.

 

I say if you like it, take it!
it is you who owns the car.
it is you who decides if it's rice or not.
if it was for me, I woulnd't bother knowing others' opinions because there will always be someone to disagree and after all I am changing/adding something because I like it.

of course it's nice to ask others for their opinions but... ehh.

 

it says the reception sucks, so i wouldn't get it, but it looks cool...not rice IMO

 

yeah i think the antenna looks pretty nice. i wouldn't be concerned about
it being rice. now if it had blinking lights on it and a controller in the car to
adjust the frequency of the blinking... well then... you know where i am
going...

 

I agree if you like it, than do it... a positive is that not many people have that antenna so it would make your Z unique. Personally I'm not into it, but that is just me...

Since it doesn't function as well as a normal antenna, that kind of fits into the definition of rice. In my humble opinion, anything that's gratuitous or claddy (aesthetically) on a car is rice.

But like others have said, it's your call ultimately. You'll be driving the car/making payments on it, do as you please. I just wouldn't put that on my car.

Looks pretty good but will be stolen the first week you have it. My stock antenna got ripped off a few weeks back.

 

There's another DB Z that parks in the same lot I do at work with the same antenna. I don't know if it's rice or not, but it just doesn't look that good in my opinion on the car. It looks kinda "cheap" actually. I would just go with a normal, black shorty antenna. But , hey, it's only a $15 mistake if you don't like it.

 

can we cut the stock attenna to make it look like a shorty?

 

Looks good. Nice aluminum look......Now if you had an rubber bendable antenna like my compadres then there would be a problem!

 

looks nice i would get it i wish they had black tho- the hell with reception i dont listen to the radio anyway? nice cheap mod that only you and a few other will acually notice and thats what nice about it.

 

 

Eh its ok...I actually hate any kind of antenna on the z. Disrupts the flow
