i luv all cars respect to anythang be it a 'riced civic' or an american muscle car dun diss people just cause the Z is a more expensive car and it dun look or is as fast as the Z
here in canada it starts at like 47k hell if we all got the money wouldn't we get that super car we wanted? since we dunt we just get what ever our pockets can afford and mod it to the limits of our wallets and engines and .... stickers....

If anything, I believe the Z turned me more into a car enthusiast. It provokes a passion for the automobile. I appreciate more makes and models because of it, even the econo-underpowered commuters.

 

Some Z owners this is their 1st sportscar so yest some think they have the best...so unless you have driven or have the understanding of the old muscle cars and what pure RAW HORSEPOWER is you dont respect it and others who have it.I like all cars I had a 99 ls1 SS and traded it in on the Z. That SS had the power but didnt handle well. I like a total package, good hp , good handling, sexy, rwd and cheap=total package.There are a lot of faster cars!!! so what, who cares! I cant beat a lot of them but you bet they get my respect.

Yeah it's nice everyone here agrees, I do too. But plenty of people on this site do rip other cars especially when that car is talked about being faster or beating a Z in a race. People get really defensive about their cars. The way I see it is looks are subjective and there will always be a faster car out there.

 

many of other forums bash about Z, maybe of jealous, because Z became one of hottest sport car in US quickly, just within 3 years. and Z is always the NO.1 selling sport car worldwide... we should be proud of it.

Your orignal intention is valid but you're preaching to the choir here. As someone pointed out earlier, every car forum will always have a group of people who hate on other cars, but the majority are indeed car enthusiast.

 

I tried quoting this guy (simpley amaZing) but couldnt fit it in my post. I cant agree more with what he has said and im glad the person that said it said it so well. This is my fourth Z and I have loved my '79zx to my present Z as much as anyone has loved their car, always wishing I had a little bit better but always loving what I had.

 

I love all cars, but the Plymouth Acclaim with ricer wing is just plain stretching it.

As long as the car is somewhat respectable and MODIFIED WITH SOME TASTE I don't mind any car really.

Hell, I drove a Neon (ACR) for several years. I got hated on by quite a few people (350z owners included when I told them what I drove before) "It's a Girls car?" Maybe to some, but I had it modded to the tune of 13.5 all motor on street tires (huge cams, headwork, overbored block with 12:1 comp pistons, etc.) and looks wise I had a simple body kit and gunmetal rota wheels. Some people hated on it, but I loved it. It was as fast as my Z is now with only a few bolton mods. I Wish I wouldn't have sold it for 6k and lost my a$$, but I'm enjoying the Z even more, so... it's all good.

Like I said though, as long as the car is modded tastefully, I love all cars. Hell I always and still do want a late 70s early 80s VW Rabbit (with 1.8t swap of course) to tear around in... and that's going pretty low on the totem pole. I have just as much respect for someone with a nice modded Rabbit as I do for someone with a 360 Modena...

 

I agree with the original post also, sometimes i catch myself marveling at a mercedes sl 55 amg, than i catch myself admiring the toyota prius, i became an enthuisiast for cars when i started looking to buy my g, but i do respect every other car thats out their.

 

From a civic to a supercar I love all cars too when they're tastefully modded. I ran up against 911 Carerra and he just got murdered. It was so ridiculous that he even laughed and shook his head when he finally did arrive at the light but I still told him I'd rather have a P car if given the choice.

 

I fully love almost all cars, but don't hate on the ppl for having what they like. totally agree with you guys.

Not because other people couldn't afford a nicer car makes them loosers, if that was the case, the I guess we are a bunch of looser ricers that couldn't afford a Ferrari. And there's no such excuse like: "I like the Z better than a Ferrari" (I've heard that before).

wow, this is awesome to read, especially when i seem to read about allot of haters...i guess the negative always seems to stick out and you remember it more. this site rocks!...i should have known there would be allot of positive responses out there seeing how the zee has seemed to have touched a huge amount of people for the last few decades. it is great being apart of the zee community. i totally agree with the owner of nissan when he said this car is about "lust, then love". this is my first sports car but i have to say, it has opened my eyes to the passion shared for not only the kick a** cars but the owners as well.
