have you read anything about the weight distribution for the Z? the weight is like it is for handling reasons. Have you ever wondered why you can fly around the corners and the Z be so predictable and easy to handle?

Actually handling can be A LOT better. I think that is why Nissan is looking at awd for its new 450z (or what ever its gonna be called).

jvanquish - has a good idea. Talk about using your head to come up with something creative instead of tossing your hands up and saying that it can't be done.

That pic is deceptive. It was shot with a shiety 35mm camera and has the obvious "fish-eye syndrome" going on making the rear appear larger than it is. The weight distribution is almost perfect in this car 53/47. If you cut anymore off the back it would mess up the weight ratio and therefore the handling. Put down the pipe or go look at your car and not a bad pic. if you do own one.

If you think the butt is too long, your other option is to balance it out by lengthening the nose a little.....

(Just can't seem to turn down a chance to ***** out pics of the car )

Nissan has an option, at purchase, to select which wheel base you want. Just pick option "Extended" instead of "Standard" where it asks on the purchase contract. See attached. They, then use the Infinity G35 frame.

[quote=tonystark]Really where else could you x out about 150 pounds? /quote]

The Chassis. And the Z doesn't fly around corners, it has to be guided through them. Carefully.

I hate to admit it, but I actually like the photoshopped car a little more. Don't get me wrong, I love the Z the way it is, but the back end is probably the one area that couldn't hurt to have a slight aesthetic improvement and it could be done without making the Z look like a damn Crossfire.

I think the original idea of this thread has its merits...
