Or, take it to the track where you can really check out the limits with the added safety equipment would be a good idea. (IE:roll bar, harness and helmet)

You kidding? I drove my z in the pouring rain for the first time and I didn't feel safe at all. You get a lot of potholes in the rain and I felt like I was gonna lose control every time I hit one. I can put my 4Runner on 4x4 for traction and it doesn't slide around and if I were to get into an accident, I'd be much safer in a bigger car.

I agree, I dont think the stock tires help either. Some guy was "Playing" with me in a Nissan Xterra in the pouring rain, he knew he could tear me a new one in those conditions and I didnt wanna play aside from a bit of acceleration but..it sucks in bad weather

Just because you are older doesn't mean you are more mature.

Yes, it's quite possible and VERY likely that older people are more mature then younger guys (say kids that are 17 and driving these cars) but look at me. I'm 19 and drive a 94 FD. That takes a LOT of maturity.

I hate posting stuff like this, but ignorance kills me.

this is sticky because my rant has more than enough water in it to prove that street racing, driving under influence and a combination of BOTH is deadly and should NOT be repeated under any circumstances

This read should not only be "sticky" but required reading for all Z owners.

Even we older guys can use a reminder on occassion.

Remember guys - age is a state of mind! If you think like a 10 year old you will act like one! And, what is racing? If you are ahead - it is no race at all.[/B]
