Question: Is there a Navi/DVD door that opens automatically?

Hi!

I am a member of a german 350z Forum and there was a discussion, if there's an electronic version of the Navi/DVD door in the US, which opens when starting the engine and automatically closes again when turning your Z off.

Can anyone confirm this?

It was added in 2004 for Models with Navigation only as far as i know

Mine opens automatically. I have a 05 with nav.

I have an 06 with a fixed screen. The manual still shows a screen with the lid though. I drove an 05 & the Nav with the 06 is a big improvement in graphics & features.
