Default New Skyline HAHAHAHA

Ok fellas,

This is a good story:

I am going home to NY from DC and I am on 395. I get behind this car that has SKYLINE written across the back of the bumper. So I am like damn is that the new skyline. I decide to pull up next to him and mess around hoping to see this car just whip my ***.

Windows are tinted hard so i can't see into the vehicle, we both take off and to my surprise I am ahead of him. Not to impressed i slow down to take another glance at the car. I also notice a 350ZGT emblem located where the 350Z emblem normally sits.

Anyway, i decide to pull up and try to get this persons attention. He notices me and rolls down his window. I ask him if that is the new skyline. His reply was

No it is a G35.

To make a long story short. This guy took a G35 debadged the whole car and put nissan badges all around it with a 350GT emblem and put skyline across the back. It was a good laugh all the way home.

I would have been too embarrassed to admit this on a forum.

Many G owners do this, similar to us putting "Fairlady Z" on our hatch.

No it wasn't white, and as far as putting Fairlady Z, that is alright since it is a Z. This guy only admitted this to me in person when we were driving, i truely hope he didn't admit this anywhere else lol.

the G35Coupe in Japan is called a Skyline ........ The new GT-R is not (or atleast from what i know) going to be called Skyline. But everyone will still call it a Skyline GT-R...

Its also called a 350GT.. Cause its a Gran tourer version of the 350z in ways...... It might of been tacky to put tons of emblems on a car like he did. But he really wasnt wrong..................

Okay Killer, I'll be nice and educate you before everyone flames you to hell and laughs at you.

The G35's are technically the latest generation Skyline in Japan. They are not called G35's in Japan... they are called 350GT Skyline's......... Just like the 350Z isn't called "350Z" in Japan.. what are they called over there? Yep, the "Fairlady Z". That G35 owner was just making his car "JDM".
