Default That black thing in the "cup holder"

You know the rear cup holder (not one next to radio) that is suposed to hold 2 cups? There is a black thing that you can put down so it can keep the cups in one place. So i've been wondering this for a while, can you lock it into position? As of right now, when I put a drink in there, it won't go all the way down, so when I turn to the left or right, it just slides around in there.

I was in a Murano the other day, and it was the esact same thing!

That thing is about as useful as **** on a bull, but I have found that it holds a 20 oz cup quite snuckly if you lift on it after you drop the cup in.

It works great when you put in 2 drinks. I love to see the looks on the drive-thru worker's face I decline the 'drink carrier' when picking up lunch for the office! I have also found that if you only have one drink, put a wallet or my SideKick in the other slot and will help from tipping over.

If I use Nissan cup holders as my only reference I would surmise that the only size drinks they sell in Japan are those thin red bull size ones.
