Blind Spot
Hi, I'm new to this forum. I have one little question. I'm getting a Z probably with in the next few days. But any ways I used to drive a 02 Celica GT. I thought the blind spot on that car was kinda bad. I've driven a couple Zs the one I'm buying one that I test drove for ****s and gigles and, sat in a couple at car shows. I noticed that the blind spot is even worse. Or maybe because i didnt fully adjust all the mirrors and all ? Well I just wanted to know if it is really that bad. Thanks in advance.

The blind spot is a pain in the *** and after a year of driving my Z, I wouldn't say it ever get's better you just learn how to deal with it. Backing out of a parking space is a fun game of , "who's going to hit me in the rear right corner", I play it every day. Just back out s l o w and watch out for idiots.

For the most part, you can see what you really need to see with the side view and rear view mirror. It is a little odd at first and does take some getting used to, though. Backing out of parking spaces is probably the trickiest thing IMO.

I'm suprised to hear so many people complaining about the rear-right side!
For me, the rear right-side offers good visibility. Between the passenger window, smaller window in back, and hatch window, I can see almost everything! I also speed up when lane changing, btw.
As for the rear left-side, that is a different story. I cannot see out the smaller window in back unless I lean my head towards the center of the car. First check rearview mirror, then side mirror, then tilt head inwards, check through small window, speed up, and lane change.
All in all, I've adapted pretty quickly. I imaging you will do the same.

i saw some guy with additional mirrors to eliminate blind spots. it looked like a$$ but if you are concerned you might want to look into it.
youre in miami so maybe you can look into the roadster. drop the top and blind spots are gone.

The blindspot doesn't really bother me much when I'm driving forward. When I'm in reverse it's a different story. My friend almost got hit by a girl backing out in her 350Z and she put it in gear and drove away and never even saw that she was like inches away from hitting him.
