it wont do anything for our cars. Ricers cant afford z's, and there are too many z's on the road for anything to happen to the value of them. The only thing fnf3 is gonna do is cause a bunch of ricers to try drifting their fwd hondas in mall parking lots after the movie and wreck. I think it'll be funny.

 

i'd rather not have ricers drift my roads...
1. they dont know how to drive and proly "drift" into my car
2. they proly land in a ditch and higher up my insurance rate
3. proly increase police watch over my backroad spirited driving routes

 

im buying an 04-05 Z in august or september when i get to base... my guess is now its going to be more expensive because it will be after the movie comes out. sad.

no movie is going to effect the resale value or how people look at our cars negatively. It can only help the way i look at it.

 

my buddy at the gym loaned his silver z for a scene. He has the twin turbo setup, coilovers, headers, bunch of other stuff. Looks hot due to the rims, but otherwise its a sleeper. He took me for a ride - near pressed my brains out of my ears.

He's hoping "his scene" doesn't get cut. Bonus, he got paid for the time they had his car - about 3 weeks. Don't know if I'd do that - hard to trust anyone else with my ride.

I think a little bit of both.

And for those who say Z is too expensive for high school kids, I've seen 03 Z going for 18K, that is less that a new mustang v6, which A LOT of high school kids get.

Too many high school kids can afford 16k to 22k cars

 

I have a bad feeling about this movie. The actors birthdate is 1981 (mine too)... kids movie.

 

F&F might make the 350z look great or funky looking like in part 2 with the eclipse and the chrome. F&F IMO is too stereotypical and places over exagerated emphasis on hp and speed forcing younger people to have no idea on how much money and parts you need to gain fractions of a second from 1/4 mile. Many think a simple exhaust or intake will take a second of from the 1/4.

 

More Z's with horrible stickers

 

i think whoever will be driving the Z will be like a "big BOSS" or i think they will put the Z in the "BIG BoSS stage" haha u have to drift against all these 240'S AND 180'S...then after you beat all those lil cars u drift with the Z!!! MUAHAhAH... i hope they put our car up there instead of makin it look cheap! thats the only thing im affraid of..is makin the Z look cheap..if they make the Z like TOP NOTCH and slap it wit a good REP, then it will be good for us (owners) as profit wise...just like how they HYPE up the "SUPRA=known as the fast car" i just want "Z=drift king car" hope this made sense...hahahha

 

well our "Drifting king cars" are probably going to lose to some american muscles... on drifting.....

 

I think that the Supra has retained its value because not that many units were sold in the US.. exclusivity has its costs. The FnF movie only helped propel it back in the limelight. I dont think that the new Fnf will have a direct effect on the value of our Z's new or used.

We may see even more aftermarket for our cars.. thats about it.

This will give us a lot of attention coming out of the theater after the movie. Just make sure your the first to your car or you can come back to a vandalized car. If 350Z loses a drift to a domestic, I would be one pissed off viewer. I would ask for my money back! LOL. Anyway, last F&F movie, everyone came rushing out and revving there cars out of the theater lot. Funny as hell. Let's just hope this movie is good.

Nothing happened to the prices of the EVO or the Eclipse Spyder after F&F2.

The 350z is not a RARE car, the Supra is.

 

They are filiming F&F Tokyo in Los Angeles. My gf works at the Wells Fargo building and they can see the set. So far, no cars tho, cuz i think they are filiming there at night. If anyone gets a chance, take your Z there, it might be in the movie! hahaha jk
