I'd looked at a few cars, and eventually special ordered my Z. I knew it was coming for awhile, but was happy that I could save up some more money for the downpayment and to take care of a few other bills and purchases in the meantime.

It was all I could talk about a month before I got it, though. And damn, when I first drove it off the lot, I spent all night driving around.

What trim/color/features are you getting?

LOL, you got to get it off your mind or you will go crazy, LOL!

Seriously, think about/get involved in something else for the time and get it off your mind. Dump your girlfriend/divorce your wife and get a new one during the next 4 months. THAT will occupy your time & mind. LOL.

I bought my first Z in 1974 (260Z), and my second 30 years later. If I can handle waiting 30 years, 4 months should be a cake walk.

You bought a Z in '74 and since then you were waiting for a 04 Z?

So is it a piece of cake or a walk in the park? Cus walking on a cake doesn't seem that easy to do it's messy, slippery, and can be pretty dangerous if you slip. Certainly waiting 4 months for a Z does seem that way though

Did you order your vehicle and have to wait 4 months? Why not have your dealer locate your vehicle in another city and have it shipped?

That's what I did. I ordered my '06 back in October '05 and I wasn't supposed to receive it until Jan '06. But a month later a dealer in Louisiana received my exact model and I paid the Houston dealer a bit more to have him ship it to their dealership from Louisiana. It was worth it. You should talk to them about that.

Calm down now, I don't want to bet with any of my asses. I supposed waiting for the car to ship is more exciting and bearable than waiting to drive your car again, once you've driven it.

Choose a hobby or sport. Something to take you mind off of the Z when you're not occupied by work...ect.
