Well today I went to the local mall to enjoy my free time during the morning I walk back to my car and I noticed something weird about her. My s2000 antenae was gone and as I sit and curse like crazy my girlfriend noticed something else missing. My Fairlady badge letters were gone also and suprisingly the perp did not leave scratched like I thought they would. So I sat there at the mall parking lot removing the excess glue before I drove away. The thing that baffled me was my courtesy emblem was not touched at all....I would think my Z badge was more valuble than my fairlady letters. Why would someone do that and no one seen them do this as it would take them a few minutes to do that.....Damn pissed me off. Here is a shot of the badge I was talking about maybe the orange overlay saved it from being touched

some people have no respect . . .
sorry to hear about your ride.
courtesy emblem is harder to remove or maybe decided to bolt
the thief probably used thread or floss to get you Fairlady badge (5 seconds) and your S2000 shorty (3 seconds)

When I saw the title of this thread, I assumed your car had been vandalized - as in body damage. Looks like your loss (in dollars) was minimal compared to some of us getting keyed, etc. , but I still feel for you. Sorry to hear.

What's the point of stealing the fairlady Z emblem? I have it on my car and it would be useless after it's removed because it would be extremely difficult to align it back into it's original position.
Sorry to hear that, but you have to be extra cautious when driving a nice car such as a Z. Sometimes you can't do anything about it.
I would take what happened as a warning and slap the stock antennae back on and stock 350Z badge.
You lost about $50 in parts. If he used it a screw driver it would have cost you hundreds.
Back in my Honda days I put on a Red H Emblem with Double Sided Tape on the front. It got stolen a couple of weeks later.
Then I bought a Front and Rear set and epoxy glued them on my car. Needless to say I had to pay to get the trunk repainted.

I wonder the perp managed to get it off with minimal damage to the paint but there were some scratches on the paint. The thing about this is I always park my Zed away from other cars and always back her in to parking spaces. I agree I was lucky the only damage was the emblem and the s2000 shorty so I can count my lucky stars....It had to be another Z driver
Some Jr. High kid is probably wearing it around his neck right now. Or he gave it to his little girlfriend to let her know shes a "fairlady." LoL j/k I hate that kind of ish as well. Just be glad they didn't do anything else costly to your car.
I read so many posts about people getting stuff stolen, vandalized, keyed.. I've already had 2 bad dreams about my car getting smashed and I don't even own it yet. I'm going to be afraid to even take my car out once it arrives in a couple weeks.
