Whatever you owe on your current car your still responsible for that amount. If you owe $5000.00 and they only give your $20000.00 then only $15000.00 will be applied against the cost of the new car.

In all seriousness, is there anywhere in the North America that they sell that toy? I'd love to get one for my work desk.

its true, most people feel grass is always greener on the other side.. i felt that way about my 04' Acura TSX, and now with the Z compared to other faster cars.. but our z's are really good cars, especially for the price.. if ur going to save up.. go for the twins, instead of the new z...

well bamyi i and with you 100% I got the hook wheni traded my Z for one with lesser miles, now i'm going to trade it in for an 05 because I tired of these damn tranny problems, etc.. i wanna go for an 05 with 20-30k miles on it. going saling for 25-30k. i've bought 5 cars from this one dealership and brought 4 people in to buy cars. they treat me very nice almost like i'm rich! but i'm not i just know how to work deals and add, subtract.

also my warrenty ran out so WTF and my tranny is going out so WTF trade it in and get a new one, they gave me more than my car was worth and didn't even look at it. I had the car at home after the deal was over I drove in the new Z with the dealer to pick up the old Z.

Yes but to a certian extent, if my current Z doesn't have all these problems and if it's PPW to go with my gold wheels, I would keep it. I also don't want TT since I do some AutoX.

Like the guy above, my warranty is over, and I'll be damn to pay for a new tranny and other problems.

I have thought about it but, going with a 45K vette against putting 20K into my Z makes me think against it. It's 45K for a new vette, So 25K for my vehicle plus 20 for my Z to get it. I can go twin turbo with an engine build and smoke a vette and the Viper and rule the roads around here for 20K. So i am thinking against it. For 20K i can drop 600-700 HP and make the B-ham crowd cry for waffles.

The 2007 Z will be better than the 2006.
The 2008 Z will be better than the 2007.
The 2009 Z will be better than the 2008.
the 2010...

I’d rather not chase the newest Z with my $$$, but that’s just me.

yes you're right and its a good thing that products gets better by the year. But the 03-04 has too many major expensive problems that currently does not have warranty extension.

Well I've got my Z for sale but I wish I didn't.....although I fit much more comfortably in my new Lexus (I'm 6'7"), my Z is much more exciting. If I fit in my Z I'd never get rid of it.....

You don't have to tell me, I pioneer that idea! Besides, its nothing that a few mods can't fix. I guess the right question to ask is....

would you keep a car that is defeated and projected to cost $$$$ to fix, even if it is a fun car?

This is not a factory flaw. It is just a diffrence in ECU programming. I am tired of your uninformed posting.

I don't know what this flaw/not-flaw in the ECU you guys are talking about. But I thought this was about the '03 suspension? I've read on this forum that customers complained that the 2003's suspension was too rough so Nissan changed the suspension on the 04-06 to be a bit more accomidating to the older customers who didn't like how rough the ride was. But in using a different suspension for the 2004-2006, people mentioned that the cornering was not as good or whatever. It kind of makes since... if you change the suspension on a car... something is gonna change. And that's why I figured bamyi mentioned that this can be changed with a few mods...

Is this also a uninformed post?

I haven't heard alot of complaints about the harsh ride. I suspect the "flaw" of topic here that is the tire feathering but from what I understand, this was not a "flaw". The engineer design the suspecion/camber with performance in mind and the results was tire feathering. Due to the numerious numbers of complaints, the design was change in 05.

Whos with me?
Possibly. I can't commit, but I feel your pain. I'm agonizing through the same debate (evident from my other posts). I'm hoping for a significant performance increase in '07 (fingers crossed)... if I can wait that long.
