Default Trading in Z, who's with me?

So after lots of contempating, self-debating, and dreaming, I've decided that instead of modding my Z, I'll just save the money and trade it in for the new Z! If the G35 concept is an indication of things to come, I'm confident the new Z will be worth it.

Whos with me?

I was thinking of doing the same thing. But now I'm somewhat lost on how the payments work. Do you have to keep paying the original car you traded in, and then pay the new car at the same time?

AFAIK, if you still owe the bank more than what the dealer is willing to give you for trade-in, then the excessive amount will roll over onto the amount of the new Z you will be buying, so depends on your situation you could be paying for 2 cars.

they buy your current car...and the balance from that is applied to the new car

Depends on how much you owe on your current car, and how much they give you on trade in. Hopefully you owe less on your loan than the amount given to you on trade in. If not, be prepared for really high payments, b/c it almost is like paying for two cars at once!

Hopefully the new Z will not go the way of the '06 when it comes to weight.

I saw pictures, looks good. How come there's nothing of the next Z? Since they came out pretty much around the same time I'd expect that they get replaced around the same time?

I would agree with you Jvan, but my car has so much rattles its killing me. Also, ever since someone posted pics comparing the front of the Z to Steve Urkel, it about did it. The front of the Z is not the best face out there. Finally, I'm pretty sure the new Z will look even more agressive!

Your reasoning is not working cause here's mine:

1. I want to modd my Z but instead will safe the money on the new Z

2. I hate the color of my Z (CS) I want PPW

3. My Z has all the 03-04 problems and its anoying

4. The new Z may be better than the current Z. Why not trade up?
