Default no more warranty....

so I, as well as most of the 03 owners have either already past their 3yr/36k mile warranty. mine is set to expire next month so I've brought my Z in to get a whole crap load of things addressed. I think it was around 10 technical bulletins, plus a couple other things. things seem to be going smoothly as they already addressed a couple things and have everything else on order. for those of you who don't have the technical bulletins, here they are again:

I'd suggest bringing a printout of the bulletins with you to avoid any fuss or neandering. oddly this morning (the day after getting my car back) I found myself grinding into 3rd gear constantly. mmmm.

I don't understand why you would ask the dealer to complete service bulletins if you are not having problems. Please explain. Thanks.

exactly. dealers aren't "required" to do a TSB out of the warranty period thus I wanted to get known issues addressed. plus it helps the dealer get the work done quicker by having the TSB with you. then the service person doesn't have to try to figure out if what you're describing is in relation to a TSB, the tech doesn't have to try to guess what the service person was talking about, and nissan doesn't have to consider whether or not it should be covered under warranty. most of the issues I had them address are in relation to problems I have/had:

-the gas filling problem
-the clicking noise from the rear axle
-the rear hatch not opening w/o manual help (and yes I tried the penny trick)
-the clunk noise from the front suspension
-the seat bolsters being worn
-the seat clicking when accelerating/turning
-the grease streaks
-the right window going up slower than the left
-the auto roll up on the passenger side window not working

not all of these were TSB issues, but they are all items that the dealer isn't required to do for free after my standard warranty expires.
