Girls who own boosted 350Z's pics
OMG-those numbers are insane-highest Procharged #'s Ive seen. Trefling, again I was too quick to jump the gun, I thought it was you that said it was a Greddy kit, I apologize for the confusion. That is one sick a$$ set-up your wife drives man. Id love to see some 1/4 times for it....
Edit-BTW was that dyno with the N20?

The Z has a Procharger with huge pulleys and she drives it. The RX7 is mine and has a little under 400rwhp on it.
Why are some of you guys calling BS on this thread?

The main drive cog pulley on the primary best is custom made and has 56 teeth. The biggest pulley made by procharger (primary drive cog) is 44 teeth. The blower is spinning very close to 100,000 rpm's. In procharger literature and website they rate the C2 blower up to 80,000 rpm's. My setup won't last as long as a stock unit but I really don't care that much. I do think however I'll stick with a supercharger unit because of the instant power. One thing I do know for sure is that a procharger can spin faster than a vortec but I hear vortec can make unit to spin faster. That's what's nice about procharger because high rpm's are taken in account in the building process, not an afterthought.
You are very lucky!
I would guess I've been working over 80 hour weeks for probably a little over a year now just to finance the other funds needed to rebuild both of these cars.
The FD's engine was old and tired so Rotary Performance put in a new one with 3mm apexi seals and ported. I had to have it polished because I love the look of the engine bay of the FD

Ohh....I need make a edit...they dyno graph is with a 50shot of NOS. If I could have done it over again I would have gotten 9.5.1 compression pistons instead of 8.5.1 because it would have made it easier to get bigger HP #'s without over spinning the procharger. The Emanage Ultimate is detuned 3 degrees to safly handle the NOS and a bigger shot can be used with a few gallons of race gas.

Perhaps I'll one day have a little pin striping done with my name across the side somewhere. I've had the urge to have the heads shaved, get it polished and ported and change cams to full race but they are only terms my father would have used, and for me, doing it is far from reality. I would rather just enjoy the ride. It does already attract all sorts of sports car enthusiasts like flies, so the need to show off is already built into the machinery. With 300 hp and a 7k redline at a curb weight of 3225 lbs., my Z has way enough power for me. Controlling the urge to show it off is difficult at times, but I suppose, that is what sports cars are for.
huggs,
June
ps. I for one am intrigued by the love some people put into their Z's. The mods they make for the Z's are a sample of the diversity the car is designed for. The car is surely a car to be proud of, no matter how it is dressed up. It is a gracious and stylish vehicle with something appealing about it for all ages. I have had little girls and boys, 4 and 5 years old, look at it and say, "I like your car". That in itself, says it all.

Very true, the Z is kid tested approved
It's nice to see a female talking about cams, motor upgrades and such. We need more women like you around! Thanks June!Trefling
My hats off to you man...that is the best attitude I've seen in a long time...can you imagine what life would be like if everyone could be so mature about their significant other?
oh, and by the way...nice family fleet.
