Well, started asking my salesman about my order number a month ago (a few days after I was assured my car was definitely ordered). Funny how they never had my order number available until after I placed a call to the NNA three days ago. Today my salesman called me with the info.


My order number starts with a "Z". Just curious, but am I the first here to have a Z order number for the Z? Supposedly, the car will be here in March.
He had told me February last month
and Dec/Jan when I gave him my 1k deposit in Sept


For anyone else in the same boat (ie: youve been assured by your dealer that your order has been placed...but their not coming up with the order number), I highly advise you to call the NNA and they will open a file for you. Be prepared to let them know your name, dealership, exact model, color, and options that were chosen. They were very polite, took down the info I gave them, and assigned me a reference number. I don't know if you posted info on this before but I am in the same boat as you.

Ordered in Nov. Kept being told that car has been ordered. But I am not getting order number just an ETA of March.

I will call NNA and find out.

So I open a reference number with them and then call the dealer?

 

I was given a bit of a run around myself and I ordered on Nov. 4th. I was told the car will be delivered in about 2 weeks from now and the salesman said he'd call and give me the VIN this week. If I don't hear from him in a couple of days, I'm definitely calling NNA to find out if my order was at least placed. Thanks for the info and the encouragement...

 

My car was ordered by the dealer last week and the dealer gave me a ZXXXXXX order number. Just to make sure I called NNA yesterday. They set up my file and then went into the system. A few minutes later I was told that the order was a legitimate, active order and the build would be in February with delivery late March or early April. They were very polite and confirmed all the ordered items like color and options.

Makes me feel good about my dealer and the process.

 

I ordered middle of October. Finaly got around to finding out my order number at the end of Dec. (The car was a gift, so I couldn't find out the order number when I didn't know I was getting one and my dad didn't know to get one). Got the order number Dec. 26. Turns out my car was built Dec. 28 and I got my VIN too. The wait is almost over. I am hopeful for late late Jan, but I figure it will be early/mid feb.

 

Just got my VIN today, late Jan early Feb.

I don't have my order # yet, I was told I will get it on Mon, BUT when the order was made, he entered it in the computer then READ my exact order back to me. They say a build date of Feb (looking at your info, looks like Delivery will be Late march/early April).

btw, my car was officially ordered Jan 7th with NNA (Dec 7 @ the Dealer).

 

I did go to the dealer and got my number start with a Y.

I did see the print out from the actual printer. It shows the order date of the actual car.

So even though I ordered the car in Novemember ordered date was Jan. And also I saw the delivery date which showed March.

And I don't think the lady knew what she was doing because she showed me all the numbers. I could have written any number down. Anyways.

I guess those with a Z are after the Y. At least that is what I think. So you guys should have a delivery date of April. However the delivery date doesn't matter because its dependent on compary production number. If they produced 15 k cars i might get one earlier like in Feb.
