How about some velcro on both sides? Might be a good, cheap solution. Just a thought.

/\ didnt notice that =) good idea... but how do u still open it? u must have fingernails =P



Also where did you get the carpet from? Im not good with these things.... im gonna have to figure out how to measure the size of the area so i know where to cut the damn thing... and how to glue it down =P

This sounds like a great idea but can someone explain how to initially remove
the panel without damaging it ** what tools are needed ?

i just took a flathead screwdriver and wrapped it in a piece of cloth.. then jammed it into the top and popped the sucker out =P
