bunch of pervs

but on topic, never was fond of anything MAACO claims they can do. I have seen some of their special paintjobs before, mostly the end result 4-5 months down the road that is.

Our local Maaco used to paint cars for our local Lexus dealer until the dealer put in his own shop. they did good work. I think it depends on the franchise and who they have working for them. Their good paints jobs are not $599.00

Well, in the end, they fixed it right, so I'm not unhappy with the work they did. Silver is a hard color to match, so I understand why they had trouble. I'm also particularly ****, so I noticed things that most people would not notice or care about. I won't post their name on this board because I don't want them to get a bad reputation.

Your lucky it came out ok, now wait and see what it looks like in 4-6 months. I know it depends on the particular Maaco shop. My 300 vert was painted at a maaco before I got it and it looked great for awhile, then it slowly started looking like it was being washed with 80 grit sandpaper. We found the receipts for the job and it was around $1800 back 7 years ago. It was done about 6 months before I bought it. The wife raised hell with them, all they said was someone was messing with the paint. We wouldn't have let them paint it again anyway, just wanted to give em hell.
This picture was before I took it apart and redid it

This was after I got it back together

My friend got charged extra at another shop after his Maaco job faded after only a few months. After they stripped the paint they found dirt! Sometimes your better off buying Krylon. It looks nice so far though.
