Default Idle.

Hey guys!

I just got back from a 3week vacation and when i started her up yesterday the Idle is around 3k rpm. After warming her up for more than 5minutes and drove her around the idle keeps on jumping up high. Ever had or heard of this? I hope its not my transmission. I have the 2003performance 50Kmiles.

I'm going to take her to the dealer today and i'm sure they will give me a hard time like always.

Pls. help if you know any info. Thanks guys!

Does it bounce? If so it might be the TPS sensor. I had a problem like that on my last car. it was annoying to say the least.

Try to rest ur TB first.. then you should take it to the dealer cause it might be a faulty throttle position sensor. Does it crank up right to 3k?

Okay, so the dealer checked it out. They said they have to replace the Throttle Chamber and it costs $592.45 and warranty doesnt cover it. So now i'm trying to call Nissan North America hoping that they'd be able to do something about it.

Any idea if there is a tsb on this one? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!
