30,450 on a '03 Touring 6 speed
Dealer tried to hit me with the 700 30k service earlier this week. I declined and told them "just change my oil." Get this i took my own synthetic Mobil 1 oil since they charge $9/qt of Mobil 1 and if you dont choose it they use regular 5W-30. I asked why they dont use synthetic as the default oil in the Z, they said it didnt matter. Well in any case everything on that list they showed me, ill be doing myself in the next 2 weeks . . . flushing my radiator and changing my gear/differential oil. What gear/differential oil should I use by the way?
On top of that they say my drive/PS belts need changing, i didnt even get a quote, ill take care of that personally too. To top it off, i took 6 quarts of oil, the Z uses 5, they kept the sixth one and claimed they couldnt find it, EF'N cheap skates.
