1994 Nissan Pathfinder (this vehicle made me a believer)
2004 Nissan Altima 2.5SL (wife)
2003 Nissan 350z

All you folks who say Nissan makes trash because your Z has problems need to realize that in a total of 10 years of owning Nissans the 350z is the first one I have personally experienced significant problems with.

My first car when I started driving was a 1973 240Z (it was older than I was!!), and now I'm on my second 350Z. I haven't had any other Nissans, but my hubby had a Spec V and a Z, my dad has gone through many Nissan trucks, and my mom had a Sentra and a Maxima.

I've had a couple now myself:

1992 - Sentra SE-R (Go Bob!) Fun, cheap car
2003 - Maxima SE
2006 - 350Z

I wouldn't say I'm a rabid Nissan fan, but I think in each price range they compete in they offer some nice performance for the price. That SE-R was just a blast for a little sedan, the Maxima 6MT moves pretty well too, and the Z well, still breaking it in, but not bad at all for the price.

My folks got an '87 Maxima and I was hooked...
I drove a couple mid-80's sentras, learning to drive stick on them.
I picked up a '92 Maxima SE (5 speed), later sold it to a friend...
Then got a '99 Maxima SE (5 speed), this is my daily driver today.
And now I have an '05 350Z Grand Touring Roadster for my weekend ride!

First Nissan was a 1985 300zx Turbo - Totaled when I was hit in a parking lot. Loved this car so much. Was the limited edition Black/Blue color with the light blue Leather interior.

Second, 1990 240sx coupe (no hatch back). Eventually gave to my wife. Good car and had a kick *** stereo installed.

Third, 1991 300zx TT. Gold/sand color and was washed out in a flood and the engine hydrolocked. Insurance totaled it out rather than replacing the engine. Beautiful car, bought for $9000 and insurance gave me $10k Bought in 1999 and only had 30k miles on it. Had it for 2 months.

Fourth, 1976 280z. Bought for $900 as a project car and after 2 years had to sell to make room. Sold for $1300.

5th, 2000 Maxima. Bought in 2002 with 54k miles. Use for work and now have 207,000 miles and still running strong.

Now I have a 03 Touring and will continue to buy Nissans until I die.

2005 350Z

I wish my 350Z had the power of my old Twin Turbo at times.

I had a specV before...i went through 3 engines...they are put together pretty ****ty and the car isn't set up to handle to power. I've known quite a few other guys with the same problems on their specV's. I had to get rid of it.

I am sure people with the earlier Nissans know about this...

"right door is open"
"left door is open"
"fuel level is low"
"lights are on"
"parking brake is on"

I swear the voice sounds like that host from "the weakest link"

I kind of wish the Z33 had that option of the womans voice, of course of a different voice than before.

July 2000-Bought 1984 300ZX with 90,000 miles. Still own it.
December 2001-Took delivery on 2002 Altima 2.5S company car. Drove 27 months and 71,000 miles. No problems.
April 2005-Bought 2005 350ZR Touring, 6M, Daytona Blue. Bought it because of looks, heritage, previous Nissan experience, and I wanted to treat myself. Best decision I ever made!
