I had some clutch issues so I was thinking about trading in my Z.
They offered me 22k for my 2004 Enthusiast +Nismo intake/exaust/tints. They said I can take out my system and rims.

I would have to buy another Z. I was thinking going 2006 base.

They finally fixed my baby - so no need to trade her in

GAWD stealerships just **** me of sometimes..!!!!

you go to trade a car with expensive mods, they say it lowered the value (to you) thats fine and good BUT when they turn arround and resell it they use those mods to increase the selling price even more and promote the mods!!!

thats what pisses me off the doubble talk.. if i had ANY other way to get a car i would !!

BTW on their offer of 10K im sure you told them to F-themselves lol that is like an insult.

+1.....i went through the same thing when i traded in a heavily modded Mustang for my z. nissan said they weren't even allowed to sell it on their lot because it didn't meet nissan's standards.but they made up for it on the price of the z.

Final offer: $10,001!

J/K

Like someone else said, sell to a private party. Mods diminish a car's value in the eyes of dealers. So, ironically, the more you spend on upgrades, the less you'll get when you trade your baby in.

Sucks.

10K trade-in for the Z? Don't even bother...
When I got my Z, I traded in my old 03 Altima 2.5s,
with dings and scratches all over the place, for 10K.
Don't do it man...just sell it privately.

yeah, when I bought my IS250 the dealer offered my $15k for my 2005 with 9,000 miles on it. I couldn't stop laughing. They don't call them "stealerships" for nothing. Dealers make their $$$ on used cars and NOT on the new stuff.

I once took a friend to a Hyundai dealership in my fairly new 300ZX. As we exited my car, a salesman approached me, so I asked, "What will you give me on trade for my car?" He paused, looked at my car, looked around at the Hyundais, and replied, "How many of these things do you want?"

Yah man, sell it on Ebay for like $22,000. You got wheels and exhaust on there too.

Go private man. Plenty of people are looking for modded Zs. Good luck with it.
