version 2 has its own plug for the MAF built in and has a cleaner look since it doesnt use the OEM center section with the stock MAF plug like the version 1 does. also the version 1 cone filter sits deeper down in the engine bay behind the wheel than the version 2. besides i think they are pretty much the same
