Default is anyone going to custom paint his/her Z??

although many of you guys are talking about getting body-kits, I was wondering if any of you will go through a custom paint job...

i don't mean craziness... i mean, something like what nismo did... a simple line that breaks into dashed lines while following the curve, from back to front.... these simple lines and accents will make the car look great!!

i guess some people might think something like racing stripes...
i guess those might be nice too... but i mean more design!!

anyone thought about this? or did this to your other cars? pics??

I'm going to glue seashells all over the outside of the car.

Nissan already offers the basic colors. Unless of course your thinking of something like this:

How much does a repaint job cost? Something of reasonable quality I mean.

Seeing as doing 2 panels in my Z is going to be $700, I'm curious as to see how much the whole car would be.

If everyone who claims Nissan's paint is so thin and fragile is correct, then I'll bet a number of us will be repainting the car in time. I plan on keeping the original paint as long as it holds up. After that, I'll probably get a high quality repaint in the car's original Daytona Blue color. I'm assuming about $4000 or more for a good quality repaint based on converations I had with paint shops on options to deal with the orange peel issue.
