Yeah - nobody wants that stupid seperate key fob - why can't we have just one - shoot, my VW has a switchblade key - and it's a dorkmobile.

Off topic but remote related.. I noticed that the signal distance f'kn sucks and I have to be very close to the car if I wanna double check if it's locked!!

Anyone else noticed that?

ThankZ, IMO at least this thread served some sort of purpose. People complained, options where presented then studied for feasibility...and conclusions where reached. Isn't this why we are all here? We have 350Z questions and as we can see, Nissan is inept at answering anything.

Anybody wanna take a stab at world hunger next?

I wonder if Jason at performance is still waitin on the key. Maybe once they get the key in person, they can get lucky.

-1, not to burst your bubble, the science doesn't lie. No way in hell that this works.

This is so pointless. Put the 200$ towards a nice aftermarket alarm instead of keeping the crappy nissan one

How about keeping the key, and changing the remote keyfob with the Infiniti one. At least it is nicer looking and more stylish ?

Intelligence in every little detail.
The available Intelligent Key communicates with the G35 as you approach, signaling the vehicle to unlock when you touch a button on the door. Once inside, it signals the seat and steering wheel to adjust to your personalized settings and lets you start the engine, all without ever being removed from your pocket or purse.
Thats according to the website, this key is so much more than a remote... I'd love to have that system in my car.

Your car doesn't have any of the features that the G35 has like for example
it signals the seat and steering wheel to adjust to your personalized settings
Hence, you would just have a different FOB. In the great words of Ron Burgandy "That makes no sense"

-1, not cool. Wishing that somebody fails at something is just wrong in my book. If somebody here wants to invest a wild ammount of money into making his/her car exactly the we they want, well that's their cup of tea. Who are we to hope that they don't succeed?

I hope anybody who tries to modify anything on their Z succeeds and that the installation goes smoothly and as cheap as possible.
