Not serious about this issue, but too bad Nissan couldn't give us this nice vehicle immobilizer system. And the design of the key is beautiful ; you lucky G owners lol. Well I guess i'll just have to be contemp with my Z key.

the UK cars get a nicer key and a full nissan alarm system but we do pay far more for ours unfortunately that in the US. We get everything as standard though, including headlight washers and cruise , telephone prep. The only real options are the rays alloys and the GT pack (heated leather and bose). Cars here start at £25000

The new Sentras have that key. It unlocks the car when you push a button on the door handle, letting you in without having to take the key out of your pocket.

What do your headlight washers look like? Could you provide pictures up close along with how you switch those on? I'm curious to see if they used the switch that is blank in our (US) center consoles (next to the seat warmers).

ThankZ,

PS: anybody know the part number for this, and what kind of retro fit it would be? (meaning the wiring is in place and it's just buying parts, or is it a major job including electricals).

Sorry I wouldn't be able to help you right away.. It's listed on the Yahoo Japan auction. I'll ask the seller about it.. Seems like it can be used for both Murano and 350z...

My buddy is in Japan and owns Z33. His 350z key has an integrated key fob on its head just like Lexus keys.

That's it. Somebody with JDM contacts PLEASE get us some part numbers.

BTW leeboyNY, could you provide links to the yahoo japan auction that you are quoting? I've been searching the yahoo.co.jp site and haven't been able to find anything. Besides, I can't read anything so that doesn't really help.

EDIT: Wait a minute, didn't you show a remote fob that is sold in JDM for the 350Z, but why would they do that if the JDM key has the integrated key fob? Which is it? (and we still want part numbers)

Good question, my guess would be that Japanese 350z also had US spec keys, but they upgraded to integrated key fob .. I've noticed that in Japan they have a lot more options for our cars. Titanium and stainless steel Fujitsubo exhaust are factory options. Momo steering wheel is also a factory option...
By the way, I'm not japanese... I'm gonna have to e-mail my buddy in Japan for more info.

ThankZ leeboyNY, please keep us updated. I'll be waiting his response (especially the part numbers).

BTW I beleive that the Fujitsubo exhaust is our "nismo S-tune" exhaust, at least our nismo S-tune is made by Fujitsubo.

Are you talking about the Nismo Weldina exhaust? That's different from the fujitsubo Legalis R I believe.
