Default No Front Plate

I did not install the front license plate, even though I live in a 2 plate state.

Today, I had business at our Police Training Academy, so there I was at 0800, surrounded by at least 75 police cars and what appeared to be several hundred policemen.

After about five minutes, half of them gathered around my Z for a close up view. Many comments, but not one of them mentioned the missing plate. (thank God).

With luck like that, I'm thinking of hitting a casino tonight!

Red face I hate front plates . . .

I live in North Carolina and thank God, we are a one licence plate state. Before I buy a new car, I tell the dealer not to put the front plate bracket on my car. I have yet seen a car that looks better with a plate on the front bumper. I wish we didn't have to have plates at all front or back. But I guess unless you are on the race track, they are necessary. I hate inspection stickers on windows also. Maybe in the future, law enforcement will be able to identify a vehicle by a computer chip and visual identification will not be necessary.

Just a thought.

Mississippi (where I am originally from) is a 1-plate, inspection sticker-required state. But OH is a 2-plate, no inspection sticker state. Either way I lose. At least I'm not in VA where the Inspection sticker is in the dead center of the base of the winshield. I always thought that was so unfortuate and ugly LoL

Hey, I resemble that. The sticker is the toughest part... they do pull you over for that... road blocks even! But I'm stopping by the dealer tomorrow to start reminding them to not drill any holls in the front bumper... or they will be wearing my plate on their forhead... or something like that. There seems to be pletny of cars here going with no fron plate even though....

I'm gambling as we speak; California is a 2 plate state and I haven't put the front plate on yet. Iris said it's a $25 fine, so I'm gonna let it ride for a while cause the Z just had too pretty of a nose to cover up. =)

Ya I'm from VA too..sucks over here.. but I didn't get my front plate in, I'm keeping it in my car and if I get pulled over I'll play it off and show them the plate and tell them I'll do soon as I get home.. .. same with tint, under 35% is illegal here, I'm gonna get 20% and just roll down the windows when a cops near
