Default Power Steering Bleed???

How do I get the air out of the power steering lines? Is there a bleeder?
My PS is making horrible sounds because there is air in the pump.

Please HELP!

you turn the steering wheel left to right and back and forth for a while, it will go away after a couple minutes. Check your level of power steering fluid and make sure you have enough.

how do you know there is air in the lines, it may just be low on power steering fluid.

no, the reservoir is full but I had a broken line before becsue I got Greddy TT's and the right hand turbo housing rubbed up agains the PS pressure line until it made a samll hole so I ended up replcing it. But when I replced it, there was alot of air in the lines and now it maked a bad winding noise. I drove the car to the club and back tonight and I still have the noise...

ANy ideas? I'm gonna leave the reservoir uncapped overnite to see if some bubbles come out but I don't really have any more ideas.

Like i said, i had the radiator and all the hoses disconnected while i was working on my car. Of course when put the hoses back together, i had to bleed the power steering. Like you said, it makes a bad whining noise. Do this without driving, in your driveway or garage. Turn the wheels lock to lock, back and forth several times. You will hear the noise will start going away and finally disappear. It might take a couple minutes, but keep doing. You will get rid of all the air in the line. It worked for me so it should work for you.

well, this morning I did what you said and jacked the front of the car up about a foot and 1/2 and filled the reservoir to the top, started the car up and for 30mins I was turning the wheel lock to lock and yes, the noise baceame faint after a while until I thought it was 100% fixed. Then I cleaned up, went outside and started the car up and BOOM! Again.... that damn whining sound. WHF?

did you check your hose ? I dont know if it would make a difference but try without jacking the car up. I dont know what else to tell you man, unless it is your power steering that's bad.
