Everytime I start the Z the navigation door is supposed to open but it doesn't unless I tap the top of the door. It just clicks - like it is trying to open but doesn't unless I tap it. It happens everytime except for when I took it to the dealership this weekend but then this morning it happened again. I know this sounds stupid but I think a brand new Z should work all of it. I was hoping that maybe there was a trick or something. Let me know.....

 

It happened to me twice, I had to take it to the dealer to get fixed, thank God it was under warranty. Somtimes it gets stuck especially when its cold or in the mornings. Tell them to fix it, Nissan USA knows this is a problem so in the '06 with Nav, they dont even have the door anymore.

 

happen to me too. They replace the motorize panel inside and it happen again. Sick of it, i ask the dealer to cut off the circut and now, the door open 24/7.
