Default Leather seat quality on the Z?

I have a touring Z with leather seats.I really love the seats. This is the first car I own with leather seats. How does the leather compare to other cars such as (Bmw,Mercedes,Lexus..)?

Default Leather quality

To be frank, I thought the leather seats in the Z were just "OK". There was nothing really "wrong" with them, but they didn't feel as rich or thick as some high end leather seats.

I dont think its real leather but I might be wrong.

I like em alot, Ive sat in mercedes(2001) and BMW(1997) leather. I found it to be stiff and hard, the Z leather is a bit softer and grippier, which is good for the purpose. its not the kinda leather you slide around on.

FYI, BMW leather wears especially bad in my experience. Zs leather is ok, not awesome, but definately not shitty.

The leather is pretty good.. Not as good as mercedes or BMW's higher end leather (on M models), nor is it as good as the Lexus leather, but it's better than Honda or Toyota leather and definately better than the normal BMW "montana leather" that you find on 3-series,etc...

Well, If you compare it to the leather in a 1998 Maxima SE then the leather is absolutely beautiful. I have the Max and it sucks compared to the Z.

Is it the same leather used in the G35, or different?

It's different. The G35 leather is softer and looser.

Middle of the road. Not as good as the higher end cars, but a helluva lot better than my Chevy Truck.
